An important part of our community outreach is the GSLC Food Pantry.  The food pantry is open four days a week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday from 1:30 to 3:00 pm (closed Wednesday).  Families can call the church between 9:00 am & 3:00 pm to make an appointment to pick up food and personal items.  Each family is given a copy of Portals of Prayer, a daily devotional, and a Bible is given to anyone who wants one.

A photo ID is required on the first visit.  Families can come every 60 days after the first visit.  However, they are required to bring a referral sheet from DFCS on subsequent visits.  Our goal is to provide a necessary service to families in our community in their time of need.

The food pantry is supported not only through our church budget, but also by member donations of food and personal items.

If you would like to make a donation, we need non-perishible food staples and personal items such as shampoo, toothpaste, etc.  There is a receptacle in the Narthex for your items.  Thank you for your donations.

GROCERY BAGS NEEDED – Paper bags are used to pack the food given to families and we are running low.  If you can pick up a few extra at the grocery store or have some at home to donate, they would be greatly appreciated and put to good use.
